This Lockwood beauty started its life in Rotorua as the company's show home before being transported to Omaha in 1985 where it has resided since. Perfectly positioned on a level corner site in the northern end of Omaha, "two back" from the beachfront and less than two minutes' walk to our pristine beach, just 200 metres away.

A huge bonus here, is that there is only one immediate neighbour plus there's a large reserve on the rear boundary where children can play safely. Cricket matches and frisbee comps will be a regular occurrence here. Nestled amongst Pohutukawa trees which provide some welcome respite from the hot summer sun as well as a degree of privacy, this funky north facing beach retreat has a very cool vibe about it from the moment you step inside.

Defying its 35 year age tag, the house is presented in mint original condition and offers master bedroom with ensuite, two additional bedrooms, guest bathroom with that all important bath for the youngsters after a day on the beach, separate wc, and separate laundry with additional shower. The kitchen with its retro breakfast bar is very functional and the adjoining dining and main living area open to expansive sun-drenched decks on the east and northern sides where you can enjoy alfresco dining under the shade sail.

A huge internal access double garage was added in 1994 and the current owners have fully lined and insulated this. There's loads of room for storage of all the beach toys and part of this area could easily be converted to more accommodation, rumpus/bunkroom if required, while still leaving space for garage facilities. For the boaties there's a dedicated boat parking space out front and if surfing spins yours wheels it's only a short walk to the best break in Omaha. Likewise, a stroll up the road will have you at the golf club in under 10 minutes for a round or coffee at the cafe. Lockwood, standing the test of time and still going strong, come see!
