Jo Giles

Jo has worked for the past 15 years in the media as Presenter of Shopping With Jo and In Depth at CTV. Prior to that she was an announcer at More FM and talk back radio host with Canterbury On Air. She is now fulfilling a long held ambition to involve herself in the exciting world of real estate having a taste on the periphery of the industry with property management and as a mortgage manager.

Never settling for average, Jo has represented New Zealand for Pistol Shooting at two Oceania Games (Bronze Medal) and a World Cup, she was New Zealand’s first female jockey, and has been competing in Motorsport over a number of years with rallying, circuit racing and speedway. She is currently in her 4th season of racing successfully at Woodford Glen. Jo has also developed a passion for rock ‘n roll in the past two years winning both gold and bronze medals in competition in 2007.

Jo has 4 children, Anna, Samantha, Olivia and James and has instilled the values in them that she aspires to – honesty, integrity, empathy and a good work ethic.
