Jo Lanigan

Jo sold real estate for nine years in Manhattan one of the world’s most competitive marketplaces. Having completed a Fine Arts Degree at Carnegie Melon University in Pittsburgh, Jo began her career in New York City as an actress. In the 1980’s she turned to real estate and chose to work for one of New York City’s top Madison Avenue agencies specialising in apartment sales.


Over eight years she scaled the heady heights of success and found herself loving real estate with a passion as her

career blossomed.

Looking for new challenges and a better lifestyle, Jo moved to New Zealand in 1987 with her Kiwi husband and family. In 2002 Jo, still passionate about Real Estate, was drawn to Bayleys’ high standards and supportive network. She swapped her original Manhattan apartment focus to

concentrate on residential and lifestyle properties.


Jo is renowned for giving her clients 200% of her energy, leaving no stone unturned as she constantly
