Bill Whalan

Bill Whalan is a director of Bayleys Canterbury and Bayleys Wanaka. After almost 30 years involvement in real estate, Bill has experience in most aspects of the industry. He formed and headed Whalan Real Estate Limited, which over almost two decades became the largest specialist rural real estate company in Canterbury, prior to merging with Bayleys in 2002.


Bill has been involved in hundreds of marketing campaigns and sales transactions from high country stations to corporate dairy farms, major subdivisions, industrial and commercial developments, and the majority of Canterbury’s finest country homes through to little cottages in the country. This has enabled him to assemble a vast database of contacts ensuring the success of any marketing project.
