Her journey into the real estate realm commenced within the office of her father's real estate agency in Auckland. Following this, Sherie diversified her professional background by working in the music industry as a marketing manager and collaborating with entertainment lawyers in both London and New Zealand. Her experience in the contractual aspects of these roles proved instrumental when she ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing her own boutique real estate agency, Piha Property Brokers Ltd, in 2001. Located in Piha/Karekare – a small coastal area 45 minutes northwest of Auckland, boasting a popular surf beach – her agency catered to the unique property landscape of the region.

The natural transition to Bayleys Wanaka followed, allowing Sherie to continue her work with a small, dedicated team in another breathtaking part of New Zealand known for its abundance of outdoor activities.
