Prior to entering real estate Jason completed studies at Waikato University and after several years in Cyprus as a missionary, returned to New Zealand where he specialised as a pastry chef in several notable cafes in Wellington and Hamilton.

Happily established in Hamilton Jason is a member of the community at Gateway Christian Centre and married to Sarah with three wonderful kids Heidi, Isaac and Hudson. Jason and the team at Bayleys made my first home purchase very straight forward and easy. There wasn't ever any pressure to buy, and Jason gave me great advice for the auction.
Let us begin with saying that prior to working with Jason Penny, we had been trying to sell our house for two years. Selling a house in an economic crisis is hard enough let alone selling a house that is considered a “luxury home”. During this time we had shuffled through a variety of different real estate agents so we feel we are more than qualified to give an accurate critique on performances in such an area.
As you can imagine after two years of trying to sell and having agent after agent make excuses as to why the property would not sell it got quite tiring, we didn’t need excuses, we needed a sale!
In September 2012 we phoned Bayleys and Jason was assigned as our agent. From the get go Jason showed a passion for our property. We even remember him commenting that he would like to live here.
