Situated on Peria Valley Road is a 53 hectare (135 acres approx.) block approximately 17km inland from Taipa and Doubtless Bay, and 25km from Kaitaia. Approximately half the property appears to be planted with a mixture of pine trees, plus an area of gum trees, native bush, scrub and wetland. We understand the pine trees were planted in the late 1990's (the exact plant date is unknown). The trees appear to have had no silviculture work to date and the pine trees have not grown to their full potential. Potential purchasers would need to satisfy themselves as to the quality and added value of the tree crop growing on the land. Roading on the property, that was completed for the previous harvest, is overgrown, but when upgraded should give reasonable access about the property.

Contour is medium hill, with steeper sidlings adjacent to water courses, with predominant soil types being a mix of Hukerenui and Wharekohe clay loams.

The closest mill is Sumitomo in Kaitaia (25km away via Fairburn), and it is approximately 180km to the export port at Marsden Point.
