The views are of the Hukatere Peninsula from the East, and on the western side look over the stunning cliffs of Pouto peninsula, and over expansive water views, to the mouth of the Kaipara Harbour.
Encompassing 1.38 hectare, being the South East portion of Kaiwhitu Island, the land is of a steep gradient, with small sandy and shell beaches on both the western and eastern sides of the island.
The potential is to build a jetty, which would allow easier access and mooring.
Being in the Kaipara Harbour, the island is surrounded by a significant ecological area, abundant in sea and marine life and sits off Te Kiakia Bay, Hukatere Peninsula.
