RARE ARKLES BEACHFRONT RETREAT

After 50 years of enjoying the beach; fishing, sailing and just relaxing, this family is reluctantly selling their beachfront holiday home with its own boat ramp onto Arkles Bay Beach. Facing North to maximise sun it is elevated just above the beach and nestled into a private, sheltered 1128sqm bush setting with sensational views along Arkles Bay beach, Whangaparaoa and Hauraki Gulf. Truly a prime and quite unique position , handy to local shopping and schools.

Built during the mid 1960's the home of 240sqm is on three levels. It is light and airy with classic lines. The ground floor has a large tandem garage and large tandem carport, both giving access to the boat ramp onto the beach and providing plenty of room for all the beach toys. Construction is concrete block to the ground floor with vertical cedar claddings on the upper floors and metal tray roofing. There are four bedrooms, a bathroom, shower room and north facing open plan lounge/ living areas that flow onto very generous outdoor decking to soak up the sun and stunning views.

You can continue to enjoy as a beachfront holiday home or live here permanently, future refurbishment or develop further into your own beachfront dream home are all options.

First time offered in 50 years. A must to view!

More about Whangaparaoa Peninsula:
Whangaparaoa is Maori for Bay of Whales, and pods of orca and dolphin are still spotted in the waters off the peninsula. The peninsula stretches east for 11 kilometres into the waters of the Hauraki Gulf to the north of East Coast Bays. The island of Tiritiri Matangi lies three kilometres off its eastern tip.
The town of Whangaparaoa sits on the peninsula's southwestern shore, and is regarded as the start of the section of coastline known as the Hibiscus Coast. Communities along the peninsula include Red Beach, Stanmore Bay, and Manly. At the end of the peninsula is Shakespear Regional Park and Gulf Harbour.
For those that value spending time at the beach with the family or simply as a spot for relaxation the Whangaparaoa is perfect. The peninsula has continued to develop in the last twenty years as more people want to take advantage of the superb lifestyle on offer. This development has grown to include a thriving shopping centre, movie theatres, and a library and community centre.
