A 1940 Champion cast iron cooker keeps the open living space warm. The wooden board and batten exterior has been well maintained and the wooden joinery freshly painted. Private forest glade setting with stained glass lead lights, timber shingles, chain downpipes and beautiful stone feature walls with stones collected from around the property.
Built in 2007, the double garage with automatic door includes sleep-out space with bathroom and houses the laundry.
A wander through this vast 8316 sqm sanctuary along hidden pathways through a forest of Kohekohe, Puriri, Totara & Rata to name just a few, leads to an incredible forest framed lagoon and further to the base of the forest park that forms the northern boundary of this very special property.

Located just 20km's driving north east from Coromandel township over the Tokatea Range, Tuateawa is a coastal settlement on the eastern slopes of the Coromandel Forest Park. A true sanctuary for native birds and some ancient stands of native forest, hidden wetlands, walking tracks and coastlines worth combing - on foot or on the water, this is a place where you can leave the city and suburbs behind yet still feel connected to all the most important things in life
Tidal boat launching in Tuateawa Bay with Little Bay, Waikawau and Kennedy Bay beaches all within 10 minutes drive in either direction. There is generally good cell phone access with 3G & 4G in the area across the major networks. Refuse and recycling, rural delivery, local wildlife protection group complimented by plenty of peace and privacy across larger than average size sections in a coastal living zone.
