Rural adventure beckons the brave

Less than a 12 minute drive to the buzzing township of Te Puke you could conceivably be hundreds of miles from civilisation. This farm at 40.1 hectares comprises approximately 20 hectares grazing and 20 hectares native bush. The grazing is roughly divided into eight paddocks on four tiers as the property falls away to the Raparapahoe stream. Two springs and a majestic waterfall form part of the source of this magnificent waterway. The huge expanse of native bush boasts all varieties of native flora and fauna, with the boundary seven wire fenced in entirety you can feel confident that the stock of your choice will remain on the property.

There have been discussions about the potential for horticultural development as there is 4-6 hectares that could be suited to this enterprise. The upper reach of the property is deer fenced and is currently running a mob of 75 red deer, facilities are in place for handling these animals in the form of a holding yard, half round barn and other shedding. There is a small unconsented cabin with shower, toilet and kitchen to use while you wait on your new build or to enjoy while you spend your weekends adventuring and exploring with the kids or grandies on the property. Ideal as an ultimate getaway or perhaps some glamping or an eco lodge, and there is always the added bonus of the many species to hunt like pheasants, duck and even the many wild fallow deer that frequent the bush blocks in this area.
