Built in 1882 the Masonic is the last of the original Waitara hotels still standing and with the Waitara Lands Act now passed if offered for the first time ever as a freehold going concern
Refurbed in the 1950's it was given another makeover again in 2014.
The top half of the hotel was remodelled to accommodate 8 modern suites all with ensuites, plus a owners/managers 1 bedroom flat was created with its own ensuite and kitchen, the hallways were lined, gib stopped, painted and new carpet laid throughout.
All suites use a key card entry system.
On the ground level we have a bar that is home to the 18 gaming machines, a small lounge bar, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen/dining (Wayfinders Eatery) reopening July 2017 plus room to create more accommodation (4 rooms) or bottle store (licensing permitting).
Included in the sale is the now closed bottle store.
The hotel holds both on license and off license (over counter)
Land area of the property is 1528sqm (more or less) over three titles with a building floor area of approximately 1168sqm which still allows generous off street parking.
