Pine and Eucalyptus Forestry Lot
Located less than 20km from the Gisborne Port, on Lake Road is this 6.61 hectare Forestry lot. The forest is divided into two compartments, with approximately 4.1 hectares of 27-year-old Pinus Radiata and approximately 2.0 hectares of 26-year-old Eucalyptus Saligna.
The trees have been pruned and thinned to 350 stems per hectare for pines and 150 stems per hectare for the Eucalyptus.
It isn't very often a forestry block like this comes up so close to the port.
