If the walls could talk, there'd sure be a lot of stories to tell! This fabulous beach house was the Rakauroa Community Hall before it was moved to Mahia in 2004. Once on site, it was renovated inside and out, but still has the old polished floorboards, high ceilings and other characteristics of the original hall.
The roomy open plan living/kitchen/dining area is the hub of the house, and opens to three double bedrooms, a laundry/bathroom area and two spacious and private decks with lovely views, for outdoor relaxing and entertaining.
Under the house on the northern side is a large separate room with an ensuite shower/toilet, which is currently set up with bunks and beds to sleep six people and is the perfect space for guests or for teenagers to chill out.
In 2011, a large Totalspan shed was built on the property, providing storage space for your boat and/ or vehicle and other equipment. The 1211 square metre section is very easy-care, with plenty of off-street parking and room for tents, and the outside shower is perfect for hosing off the sand after a swim at the beach.
In the heart of the family-friendly community of Mahia Beach, many years of family fun and beach activities await you here - call Katie Bowen for more information or to make a time to view.
