This sale represents a unique opportunity to acquire the Going Concern assets of a premium Nelson hop producer including the picking machinery, drying facilities and share allocation of the business.
The 119 hectares of land at Upper Moutere, in the Nelson region, currently has around 61 hectares of hops under canopy and room for another 15 ha of canopy. The drying and processing facilities on the property have the capability to process around 150 tonnes, and there is an extensive range of plant and equipment.
The sale would also include a beautifully maintained 500sqm homestead set amongst park like grounds and shares in New Zealand Hops Ltd., being a corporative that further processes and markets the hops both locally and internationally.
