The perfect home in the Marlborough Sounds would consist of what exactly? Everyone is different of course, but let us hazard a rough guess at what might suit most.
Access is key - so within an hours drive of a local airport like Blenheim would be handy. For lighter replenishments a 5 minute boat road or 15 minute drive to smaller centres like Havelock or Linkwater make life a lot easier when Dad forgets to pack the oil for the Barbeque.

Dry and well maintained, a sure sign that you have found somewhere that is perfectly facing north and receives no shortage of sun throughout all seasons. Spacious living that flows onto the deck suits those chasing the sun, while three double bedrooms spread over two levels facilitates those that hide from it. A bathroom upstairs, and down means there is no ques, no matter what the crowd.
