West Otago Dairy Farming Portfolio


Comprising three separate farms and a total land area of 794.8092 hectares. This large scale farming estate can be purchased as an entire portfolio or individual separate farms.

Previous production has been in excess of 600,000kgMS milking a total of 1400 cows

across two farms being Crookston Dairy Limited, and Pomahaka Dairy Limited with the Dunrobin dairy support property located 11kms from Heriot.

Crookston Dairy is flat with fertile soils milking 900 cows through a 50 bale rotary shed and provides support buildings and three homesteads on the property. Previous production has achieved 420,000kgMS from a total area of 324 hectares.

Pomahaka Dairy consists of flat to easy rolling contour with short walking distances to a 40

ASHB dairy shed, two homes and other supporting buildings. Currently this property

has been leased for the past three years but previous production has achieved 188,000kgMS from 163 hectares.

Completing and supporting this dairy farming entity is Dunrobin Enterprises comprising of clean rolling contour, full range of buildings all raced and water supply to all paddocks. There is also 33 hectares of forestry registered under ETS ready to offset emissions.

This hub of farms is located approximately one & half hours drive to Dunedin International Airport. Our vendor has built this portfolio up over the last 20 years and is now divesting and moving to Central Otago for retirement.
