Mangawhio Forest

Situated inland from Waitotara is a 643 hectare mixed contour property with areas planted in Pine Trees and the balance a mix of native and Manuka. Access is gained via both Lakes and Waikare Road allowing for easy removal of pines and easy access in the future. The area supports a number of forestry plantations and more recently has become popular with beekeepers for the collection of Manuka Honey only a short distance from State Highway 3. \n
