Maikaikatea Station situated in Northern Taranaki is a mix of Grazing, Manuka and Native bush with a total of 1206 hectares on offer.
Run as a conventional store stock sheep and beef farm the property is of medium to steep hill country and is only 15 kilometres from State Highway 3 with good access provided by the Maikaikatea Road.
The property consists of four titles with two main blocks of 760 hectares and 446 hectares located either side of the Waitara River. This farm offers a good mix of Manuka plus large areas of native bush with the balance farmed as a grazing unit carrying approximately 3,090 sheep and 234 cattle.
Farm infrastructure includes two woolsheds and yards, satellite yards, implement shed plus main home at the front of the farm and a hut at the back of the farm.
Large areas of mature and reverting Manuka provide a solid base for Manuka Honey production offering opportunities for Bee keepers with metal roads and a good network of tracks throughout.
