The current owner bought the 1,004sqm section at auction, commissioned Sir Miles to design, built the house and has loved and nurtured it for 50 years. Recently referred to as "one of the best preserved of the Warren & Mahoney houses".

Built of concrete block, reinforced after the earthquake, the home is positioned perfectly to capture treetop views across the city to the snowcapped Southern Alps.
