Statements Gallery is for sale as a going concern, it was first established in 1992 as a dealer Gallery representing New Zealand contemporary paintings and applied arts. Statements has established itself as a leader in its field of high quality hand-crafted art works and offers an ever changing canvas to everyone who passes its corner site, night and day.\n\nIt has become a destination for tourists and is iconic for art lovers, well written about in travel books, magazines and known for its return of national and international visitors.\n\nLocated on the corner of Tennyson and Hastings Streets, the main intersection in Napier's Central Business District, this area has become a successful/high end retail precinct operating in renovated Art Deco buildings with neighbouring businesses such as the ever popular retail outlets such as Ujazi Caf'e, Degas, Ooma and Alexanders Menswear to name a few enticing shoppers to the area.\n\nThe Gallery deals in quality contemporary New Zealand paintings, prints, sculpture and applied art. These include handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, studio glass, wood, greenstone, bone, stone and textiles, with the majority of stock being on consignment (sale or return). The Gallery has regular solo and group exhibitions. \n\nThe business is for sale as the two founding directors wish to retire after sixteen years running the gallery.\n\nInterested parties will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement before any details pertaining to the business will be released.\n
