Hawke's Bay Vineyard Opportunity

Salvare 6.18ha is located on the wine trail at 403 Ngatarawa Road, situated close to the world renowned Gimblett Gravel appellation. The Ngatarawa / Bridge Pa Triangle area is also a highly acclaimed grape growing district, situated approximately 12km to Havelock North and 20 minutes to Napier City and airport.

Over recent years the current owners have taken what was a small contract chardonnay vineyard for visitors to Hawkes Bay looking for a unique wine tasting experience to the Estate cellar door which was awarded the region's best Cellar Door at the 2009 Hawke's Bay Wine Awards and runner up in 2010. The accolades continued with the Gold Medal Chardonnay from its home block under the Salvare brand.

The cellar door with its distinctive "Red Barn" look incorporates two separate rooms with bathroom amenities, it is open and airy which creates a relaxed, casual and friendly atmosphere. The cellar door has been a regular daily stop for most of the bus, and cycle winery tours which visit the Ngatarawa / Bridge Pa Triangle area and with the new "Wineries Cycle Trail" this is set to increase.

Unfortunately the owners have decided to close the cellar door and are now selling the property land and buildings only.

The 3.77ha vineyard is part planted in Chardonnay which is leased on a three year term to a highly respected wine maker. The balance of the land has trellis structures in place for replanting.
