Alister Hitchcock is a key member of Bayleys’ NorthWest Commercial team, specialising in leasing and sales across the West Auckland industrial market. With over four years’ experience, he has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to both landlords and tenants, known for his energy, strategic thinking, and commercial insight.

Before moving into real estate, Alister co-founded and ran a successful retail packaging company, which he exited in 2020 to pursue a career in commercial property. His background in business - combined with earlier experience in design and marketing - gives him a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of what drives value for business owners.

Alister works closely with Mark Preston and the wider Bayleys West Auckland team, leveraging their collective knowledge and networks to deliver exceptional results. Having been on both sides of multiple property transactions himself, Alister brings a balanced perspective and confident negotiation style to every deal.

Personable, competitive, and results-driven, Alister thrives on building long-term relationships and creating genuine value for his clients.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys. He also channels his competitive nature on the golf course, playing off a single-figure handicap. When time allows, he enjoys travelling and cooking for friends and family.
