From humble beginnings as a truck driver and an earlier career in the food industry and high-rise construction, Shane Snijder is now at the pinnacle of his career in real estate. Celebrating 25 years of real estate success, he was acknowledged in 2024 with the Bayleys 400 Million Dollar Award in recognition of his sales achievements to date.

Shane’s journey began in Australia working for a land development company in Brisbane gaining valuable rural experience. Moving to New Zealand, he continued with real estate in Whangarei before relocating to Auckland and joining the Bayley’s team in 2002.

Shane’s experience is uniquely diverse and has successfully worked across all sectors of real estate industry, he provides service and guidance of the highest order. He contributes an additional skill base having qualified as an Associate member of the Real Estate Institute.

Shane's results can be attributed to his total professionalism and intense motivation to achieve the best for his clients. His accessibility is key – being available at all hours to suit, he is not averse to taking calls at 3am if that’s what clients need.

Shane is skilled at identifying the unique features of each property and maximising its potential through insightful marketing, ensuring visibility to the best possible audience with Bayley’s local, nationwide and international reach.

Despite a tight work schedule, Shane finds time for his sporting passions, coaching rugby at Sacred Heart College and fishing. He is married and has two awesome teenage children, a son Seth and daughter, Taylor.
