Prior to real estate, he worked in conflict management and customer service at Sky Television, where clear communication and problem resolution were essential. He later worked with Auckland Council as a Community Advisor and Storm Recovery Navigator, assisting flood-affected homeowners as they navigated complicated property categorisation, valuation and government buy-out processes following the 2023 floods. Supporting homeowners during such a challenging time strengthened his ability to guide clients through stressful property situations with empathy, clarity and practical advice. Taj takes the time to ask the right questions, understand each client’s priorities and develop a tailored strategy designed to achieve the strongest possible outcome. By staying proactive and closely monitoring the market, he works to ensure properties are positioned effectively so sellers can attract the right buyers and maximise value.

Having lived in Auckland since 2001 and raised his family here, he has developed strong community connections and a deep understanding of the local area. Being actively involved in cultural activities and school programmes also means he is closely linked to the people and families who make up these communities. Outside of work he also enjoys spending time with his family, camping during the summer months and staying active.
