The Prince’s Trust Aotearoa New Zealand is part of a global network of Trusts operating in 23 countries. Around the world, more than one-million young people have been supported by the Trust since it was founded by His Majesty King Charles III, in 1976, when he was HRH, The Prince of Wales.

In New Zealand, the Trust supports young entrepreneurs aged 18-30 through its Enterprise programme, which consists of:

• A free, and short, series of workshops which are held both online or in person

• Mentoring - specialist short burst sessions with experts or long-term connections with experienced mentors

• Financial support from the Trust’s He Kākano Seed Fund - 72 youth-led businesses have been supported in the past year

• Networking – young people often want and need connections and the Trust holds events and masterclasses where alumni come together to learn from each other
