Bayleys Canterbury is the largest full service real estate company in the South Island.
They have built a strong rural presence through having the best people in the business and working as a team. They currently have an opening for a new leader/manager for their rural business.
They seek a tireless go getter who will revel in the competitive and very exciting industry they are part of. This person will be responsible for continuing to grow the rural team which market and sell rural real estate from Kaikoura to Otago and the West Coast.
You will be a natural leader with strong relationship skills to provide direction and leadership to your internal team while maintaining the high profile this Group enjoys in the regions it has offices and is always actively involved in the agribusiness community.
It goes without saying that you will be very familiar and well respected in rural business community and passionate about this sector.
The role will be based in Christchurch and will be reporting to the General Manager.
The successful applicant will be extremely well remunerated.

Full Time Receptionist
One of the key aspects of this role is being the welcoming and helpful face and voice of Bayleys Ashburton. The successful candidate will enjoy greeting our clients and answering all calls in a friendly and helpful manner. Our new Receptionist/Administrator will also demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and thrive on looking for ways to improve.
Create advertisements using a template system and build composites for publication
Produce brochures, flyers, information memorandums to Bayleys visuals, send properties for sale to websites
Type any required correspondence to clients
Use strong time management and organisational skills to multi-task and prioritise to ensure strict deadlines are met
Invoice clients and track advertising spend
In liaison with salespeople, prepare campaign proposals for presentation to potential clients
Happily multi-task and maintain a positive attitude within a sometimes busy sales environment
Ensure the office is well-stocked, running smoothly and is always clean and beautifully presented to our clients
In liaison with the salesperson produce and disperse sale and purchase agreements
An intermediate level of computer skills and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality
A basic knowledge of Photoshop and Indesign, plus real estate experience would be beneficial
