Denise was head hunted to join Bayleys in recognition of her clear skills and the unique advantage she brings to clients. With over 20 years business experience, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills and an intimate knowledge of three Chinese languages, Denise specialises in assisting clients to experience better than expected results when they sell their properties.

Denise came to real estate after achieving a mechanical engineering degree at university in Shanghai. Later, arriving in New Zealand, she worked in a variety of roles including croupier at Christchurch Casino, mechanical engineer and had her own successful retail shop. In China she also had her own import-export trading company for around 15 years, including an online shop, and employed over ten staff. No matter what Denise has done there has been one common thread – she has always given it 110%. Her love of people and property attracted her to transition her many valuable skills to the real estate industry and she hasn’t looked back.

For Denise property is all about people and she has a firm focus on ensuring everything she does is about meeting her clients’ requirements. She understands the needs of the Chinese community in Christchurch, from those moving to a new country to those who have lived here for generations. Her intimate knowledge of cultural issues and how to relate to all types of people mean Denise can make the buying and selling of property an easy and stress-free experience.

Denise’s analytical mind, from her years of studying engineering, means she focuses on all aspects of each property transaction down to the smallest detail. She recognises that each property and client is unique and takes the time to find out what it is they want to accomplish then sets out to achieve their goals. From a bespoke marketing plan targeted at the right audience to making the property market-ready, Denise knows how to release the true potential of a home for outstanding result. And of course her online marketing skills are second to none after having run her own online store. Her time in business has also gifted Denise with confidence, determination, high-level problem solving abilities and extensive networks in both New Zealand and China.

In her spare time Denise supports and belong to the Canterbury Table Tennis Club, the North Canterbury Diving Club and Line Dancing Club. She also enjoys yoga, diving and fishing. She is a proud mum to two children and spending time with family is a priority.
