Following 5 years as Finance and Administration Manager for one of Fiji's larger private businesses in Lautoka, Jotishna Mala joined Bayleys Real Estate (Fiji) Limited in our Nadi Head Office in 2010. Jotishna, as Finance and Administration Manager, quickly rose to meet the new challenges of a demanding and detail focused position, handling all aspects of Bayleys Real Estate account management and office administration. In the ensuing 8 years Jotishna became a key player in the senior management team, earning the respect of all those with whom she came in contact, both internally and externally. Jotishna has always displayed a tremendous sense of loyalty to her Directors and has carefully managed relationships with a variety of suppliers, lawyers, accountants and others with whom she has close regular contact, looking after our interests across three offices, in Nadi, Suva and Savusavu.
It is not surprising that Jotishna has gained a taste for the real estate transaction side of our business. She has been connected in some way to all the sales and leasing activity generated by the business, and has participated in weekly sales meetings and listened intently to the activity reporting from our sales team. She has also absorbed much of the in-house training that has been provided to those on the sales floor.
Now, while retaining her key Finance and Administration role, Jotishna has become a licensed real estate salesperson and will in her own right engage is direct sales and leasing activity with the many contacts she has nurtured and looked after. Her network has grown to impressive levels and there have been many who have increasingly asked that she look after their real estate interests. Promotion from within is very much part of the Bayleys Way, both within Fiji and across the whole New Zealand wide business. Jotishna looks forward to engaging with you.
