About Mark

Mark has a background in property, finance and business. He ran his own residential property development company in the UK during the 80’s before training as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1992. After qualification he worked in the offshore finance industry in the Channel Islands for 10 years in a variety of commercial roles, culminating in Finance Director for a listed internet company.

Since moving to NZ in 2002 he has owned a manufacturing business, sold residential real estate with Bayleys, worked as an insurance broker and arranged financing of both businesses and residential property developments.

He is skilled at analysing, and focusing on, client needs and using his business background and broking experience he will negotiate a deal through to a satisfactory conclusion for all parties, whilst maintaining high standards of confidentiality and client communication.

Mark is a conscientious, hardworking professional with a reputation for being honest and reliable. He is able to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and influential professionals alike.

He sells businesses in a variety of sectors but has particular experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, transport and accommodation,  including a recently completed $11m sale of a plastics manufacturing company.

When he’s not getting deals done he can often be found on the golf course trying to improve his handicap.
