Donna Rogers knows that selling someone’s property is always a very special project. And like all successful projects, selling your property takes someone who’s dedicated to seeing it through from the start to a finish where everyone is delighted with the result.
Although she didn’t know it at the time, ten years experience working for major airlines in flight service supervision, and then seven years as an interior designer prepared Donna perfectly for the world of real estate.
From the moment you meet her, you’ll know she’s the kind of person who loves looking after her clients, interpreting what they want and making sure they get the service they need.
On the other side of the coin, Donna’s background working for large corporate companies means she can comfortably steer you through the rules and regulations that come into play with any real estate transaction.
There’s a unique bonus for vendors working with Donna, too. She offers them a complimentary interior design consultation if they’re interested in prepping their property for sale.
Donna has lived all over the world - in Scotland, England, Venezuela and the Middle East. But now her feet have well and truly stopped itching. Since she came to Waiheke, with her husband and two children, ten years ago Donna says she hasn’t felt even a tiny little urge to up and go.
“Waiheke can be both the most sociable and also the most tranquil place on earth,” she says, “and that’s what I love about it.”
Donna reckons she feels as much at home fund-raising for various island community organisations as she does walking quietly along the beach at Whakanewha. But she says she’s happiest of all when she’s working with people: communicating, negotiating, liaising, listening, laughing and understanding everyone’s needs.
