Jan’s ethos is to make sure that each party to a sale or lease knows they have achieved the best possible outcome. It is not surprising that Jan’s relationships are based on trust, reliability, strong work ethic and commitment to achieving great results.
Being project orientated she has the ability to focus on the job at hand and not let up until the goal has been achieved. This is particularly relevant when working on long-term, large-scale retail development projects which sometimes can take years to complete.
Over the last few years, Jan has been Master Leasing Agent for Stonefields, The Foundation and The Grange (Auckland retail centres ranging in size from 3,800m2 to 5600m2 approx) where she was instrumental in completing most of the leasing and more recently has also transacted investment sales of the retail units
During her time in real estate Jan has worked on ‘all sides of the table’; sales and leasing, commercial property management, residential property development and the establishment of retail stores throughout NZ and in Melbourne (when her love for all things retail was developed).
This has given her a very broad and in depth understanding of the property industry and helps her understand the requirements and motivations of each party during a negotiation.
