Cushla came to real estate on the back of a hugely successful career spanning nearly two decades in the travel and tourism industry, which involved digital and traditional marketing, communication, negotiation, social media and graphic design. In her spare time she was always looking at real estate online, going to open homes, and renovating her own properties to sell, so transitioning into the industry she was most passionate about was inevitable.
Cushla offers many high level skills to her clients. She has extensive experience seeking deals, renovating and selling investment properties for profit. From buying and selling homes, to redesigning floor plans and outdoor spaces, to interior décor makeovers, Cushla knows how to make the right design decisions for her clients’ homes. This means she can offer very practical advice as to how to make a home market-ready. Cushla even has a complimentary ‘coastal colours’ staging kit ready for her clients, which can help to add a few ‘pops’ of colour or design touches to their property in preparation for photography and open homes. In her spare time travelling off-the-beaten-track and exploring other cultures, customs and landscapes is a big passion. Cushla’s sense for adventure has taken her across the globe to Africa, South America, South East Asia, Australia, Canada, the UK, Europe and the US. She has spent time volunteering in Thailand and Laos, teaching English and helping out at an Elephant Sanctuary. She has even scaled a couple of mountains in Borneo and Bolivia indicating her ‘can do’, positive attitude, which now shines through with every real estate client interaction.
Cushla grew up at the beach and on the water so fishing, boating and the ocean are in her DNA. It’s no surprise she now lives on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast in Big Manly, which she sees as a happy blend of city and coastal lifestyle. With hubby Rhys, 5-year-old daughter, Alex, their dog Jess and cat Bob (who thinks he’s a dog!) the Fell household is vibrant and energetic. Living two minutes’ walk to the beach with wide sea views is something Cushla appreciates every day and she is super proud to call herself a ‘coastie’! Cushla loves enjoying all the area has to offer: fishing, boating, swimming, building sandcastles at the beach with her daughter, walking at Shakespear Regional Park, taking her dog for a run, group fitness classes at the Stanmore Bay Leisure Centre and enjoying brunch or dinner at her favourite local cafes and restaurants.
