I engaged Katie based on her photo. I wanted someone who portrayed “real”, not marketing hype and who was pleasant. I wanted a no-frills sale in the sense that I wanted a fair price for my property but I didn’t want to be “sold to” or badgered by an agent. And most importantly I wanted someone who I was confident would work for me, rather than the buyers. I wanted a clear intelligent communicator and Katie proved to be all that I required. She worked with what I wanted (no open homes, masks to be worn) without qualms and kept me informed during the process. Although I knew the market had slowed and thus a sale could take more time than a year ago (and prices could be lower), Katie was extremely positive that she could sell the property and was very supportive during the process. She managed the marketing well, putting thought into how to best portray the home. Although she consulted on this, I found no fault with her judgement. Her experience shone through, making it very simple to agree the marketing. Watching other nearby properties languish, I was not hopeful of a quick sale. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of sale (a little over 4 weeks) and getting a realistic price. I can only put the pace of the sale down to Katie’s expertise in the local market and her hard work. For an effective and immensely pleasant agent to work with, you couldn’t go past Katie.

Because my agent Katie looked after me superbly well. She kept me informed along the way and never lost her confidence that my property would sell. She hung in and helped me to do the same. She was honest in her dealings with potential buyers and eventually achieved the sale price I wanted. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

In case you want to know … We bought our Cromwell house through Katie Seymour. We were moving from quite a large property in Wairarapa. Katie fairly represented the new property and on several occasions as required cut to the chase with a minimum of BS. The process, although quite rapid in one sense, was also quite lengthy.
