Mark Walton is the Director for Bayleys Commercial & Industrial and leads the Tauranga Commercial team and has 20 years of experience across commercial property, finance and deal structuring.

His in-depth knowledge across all parts of Industrial, Office and Retail, combined with his strong customer focus and professional networks are key in understanding local markets and building long term relationships. This year Mark will be involved in well over $100m in property sales.

In 2021 the Bayleys Commercial Tauranga team sold three of the city's largest commercial properties with a combined value of more than $216 million.

Mark completed a Bachelor of Business Studies at Massey University in 1998 majoring in Property Management and Valuation, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Finance) in 2012.

Mark joined Bayleys in 2018 after a 10-year career with ANZ Bank as a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager. Prior to that he spent five years in financial analyst roles in London including Reuters, UBS Investment Bank and Deutsche.

With a passion for doing deals and creating value for clients, he is in a unique position to assist clients with getting the best outcome across a full service of commercial capability.

When Mark isn’t working, you’ll find him spending time with his young family and enjoys many sports including rugby, tennis and fishing.
