About Michael


Putting the right people in the right property is what drives Michael Jenks. With over 15 years’ experience in real estate in both urban and rural areas, he knows that industry knowledge, attention to detail and good negotiation skills matter.

But so do the people - the homeowners, the vendors and the buyers and Michael wants the property experience to be enjoyable for all involved. So his professional knowledge is coupled with integrity, great communication and an old-fashioned belief in answering his phone when clients call.

Having lived on lifestyle blocks with a wife who is a dedicated equestrian, Michael also really understands the ins and outs of rural property. From fencing to irrigation and pasture type – he knows what counts when it comes to getting the best price for the vendor and the best home for the buyer.

Highly experienced in the real estate industry and with a genuine enjoyment of working with homeowners and buyers – it’s no surprise Michael’s skills have been recognized. Over the years he has won many professional awards and accolades – including Rural Salesman of the Year.

Outside of work Michael has a love of cars (he once worked for Mercedes Benz) and likes to get to work on his North Canterbury lifestyle block. He also enjoys embracing local life in the community – socializing, eating out and getting out to support his wife at equestrian events.
