RE: Endorsement for Grant O'Shanassy
To whom it may concern
The purpose of this letter is to outline the experience our family had whilst selling our property in Marton, Rangitikei in early 2017. The situation was a particularly difficult one for us as vendors as we were selling our family home of 30 years, with mixed emotions from various family members. Grant was our estate agent for this process.
Grant presented us with enthusiasm right off the bat. He approached us after hearing through the local grapevine our family would be selling, without any prompting from our end. This immediately indicates two strengths that Grant carried through out the sales process; primarily his in depth local knowledge and connection; secondly his enthusiasm and drive.
Grant convinced us he was the perfect person to sell our property, having lived in the Rangitikei for years, and as a farmer himself, he knew what assets the farm had for potential buyers. The time he allocated for potential purchasers was unhurried, honest and optimistic. He was flexible, persuasive and professional at all times. We were motivated towards an optimistic price-point as vendors, one not always reflected by varying valuation methods; but Grant supported us in our motivation and in the end we achieved a very satisfactory sale outcome.
As a vendor the following were notable:
- prompt communication turn around time
- a sense of integrity, fostering a re-paw of trust and mutual commonality
- an understanding of the market
- knowledge of real estate processes
Grant is just a nice guy and I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
