Communities are the lifeblood of New Zealand and at Bayleys we are proud supporters of many local schools, sports teams and not for profit organizations across the country. It's a strong part of our culture and values - it's what we do!
Supporting and giving back is not just important to us, it's imperative. In 2014 we raised over 1.5 million dollars and participated with more than 300 organizations, spending hundreds of hours supporting the communities that support us.
We loved every minute of it and we will continue to make a difference locally and nationally through the Bayleys Foundation.

On the 1st July 2015 Bayleys entered into an exclusive principal charity partnership with Make-A-Wish New Zealand.
Through the Bayleys Foundation the combined Bayleys Group nationwide is poised to embark upon an enduring journey alongside Make-A-Wish New Zealand, aimed at supporting the life-changing work undertaken by this organisation.
Make-A-Wish New Zealand grants the wishes of Kiwi children aged between 3 and 17 who are suffering from life threatening medical conditions. Currently Make-A-Wish New Zealand is able to grant just 200 wishes per year, the range of these wishes is limited only by the imaginations’ of the applicants.
With the support of the Bayleys Foundation and all members of the Bayleys Group nationally, we aim to bring that number up to 400 - the total number of eligible children diagnosed with a life threatening medical condition each year. We aim to ensure no child misses out on the opportunity to have their wish come true.
Blind Foundation Guide Dogs
At the end of 2014 Bayleys and Blind Foundation Guide Dogs mutually agreed to end their partnership. The 10 year milestone marked a fitting natural conclusion for the relationship.
Bayleys has raised more than $2.8 million for Blind Foundation Guide Dogs. Valuable funds raised enabled breeding and training of more than 120 guide dog puppies to become mobility companions for New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision.
