A growing family, 3 people, 1 lounge

Bayleys began in 1973, when Pam, Graham and John Bayley began working from their family home in Pakuranga. Graham and his son John worked as full-time salespeople, while Pam supported them as financial controller, receptionist and office manager.

2,000 staff, over 90 offices

Today we have over 90 offices up and down New Zealand and three in Fiji. In total we have more than 2,000 staff, including over 1,000 sales and leasing agents. The rest support our agents with their skills as managers, administrators, marketers, consultants, valuers, trainers, public relations experts, researchers and auctioneering specialists.

3 generations

All five of Pam and Graham’s children are still working in the business. John is the Chairman of our board and his brother David acts as Executive Director and Principal Shareholder. David’s son Mike is one of eight of Pam and Graham’s grandchildren in the business and he works as Managing Director of the Bayley Corporation.
