As National Director of Residential for Bayleys Real Estate, Johnny is responsible for driving growth and strategic direction across more than 115 offices throughout New Zealand and Fiji. Leading a network of over 965 residential sales professionals, he oversees all facets of the residential sector, including luxury, waterfront, apartment, lifestyle, project and development sales and marketing.

With an in-depth understanding of the factors influencing New Zealand’s property market, Johnny is passionate about helping Bayleys salespeople maximise outcomes for their clients while delivering exceptional service. A strong advocate of Bayleys’ Altogether Better philosophy, he believes real estate is fundamentally a people business and is committed to strengthening communication, collaboration and connectivity across the Bayleys network.

As a member of Bayleys’ Executive team, Johnny works closely with leaders across the company’s residential, commercial and rural divisions to deliver consistent strategic direction across all asset classes. He also maintains strong relationships with Bayleys’ global partners, including Knight Frank and Knight Frank Private Office, as well as McGrath in Australia, creating opportunities for clients seeking international buyer reach and expatriates looking to return home.

During more than 25 years with Bayleys, Johnny has built an extensive network of industry relationships and held a number of senior leadership roles, including Director of Residential for the Auckland and Wellington regions. He also led the development of Bayleys’ national marketing division, establishing the strategies, tools and resources that support salespeople in marketing their clients’ properties and achieving outstanding results.
