Jon’s career has developed out of helping people improve their lives through financial advice. With a background in banking, he began with the Realty Group in 2003 as a Financial Adviser. The company soon expanded through merger and acquisition and Jon’s skills in business saw him take on leadership roles including General Manager and CEO as the organisation grew nationwide.

Seeking a new challenge, Jon moved to Bayleys and quickly established himself as a trusted Salesperson in the market. With his experience particularly in communication, sales and negotiations, he took the opportunity to become Tauranga and Whakatane Residential Sales Manager when it arose. After a successful period in this role he was appointed as General Manager for the Bay of Plenty to assist the company with implementing its strategic objectives across our Residential, Rural, Commercial, and Property Management services.

Jon is motivated by growing great people and teams built on a foundation of positive culture, best practice and fulfilment from delivering an exceptional client experience. His guidance behind the scenes ensure that clients recieve trust, insight and partnership from our Bayleys people as they help them with their real estate goals.

Jon grew up on Auckland’s North Shore before finishing his schooling in Wellington. He attended Massey University before travelling and working overseas. Returning home, he and his wife made Tauranga their home where they have raised two teenage boys. Jon enjoys fishing, golf, rugby, music, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
