Kate's journey in real estate began somewhat serendipitously in 2002 during university holidays, when she stepped in to help her mother, who worked in real estate, following shoulder surgery. What started as temporary assistance quickly became a calling. This initial exposure revealed not just an aptitude for the business but a deep appreciation for helping clients achieve their dream homes or investment goals.

Her commitment to excellence is evident in her impressive academic credentials including an MBA from Massey University (2015) and a Graduate Diploma in Business with a major in Real Estate (2004). As a licensed agent since 2008 and AREINZ member, Kate has built her career on a foundation of continuous learning and professional development.

Kate's leadership philosophy centres on empathy, collaboration and team development, strengths that have defined her most recent roles. As Regional Sales Manager at Fletcher Residential, she led high-performing teams to achieve sales targets while implementing data-driven strategies for growth and customer satisfaction. Previously, during her eight-year tenure as Executive Director at Ockham Residential, she provided strategic direction that drove business growth and fostered a culture of excellence and achievement. Her experience spans the full spectrum of real estate operations, from frontline sales training during her time at another real estate brand to business development and compliance management. This comprehensive background has shaped her understanding that success in real estate extends far beyond transactions and is about building lasting relationships and creating positive impacts in people's lives. She finds immense satisfaction not just in helping clients achieve their property goals, but in nurturing team members and watching them grow and succeed.

Outside of work, Kate prioritises family time with her partner, friends and loved ones, and enjoys traveling. She has a strong commitment to giving back to the community through sponsorship of local schools and clubs, with particular support for Mercy Hospice, a cause close to her heart following her father's care there.
