Initially a city-girl from Wellington, Kim Fieten changed tack some 18 years ago when she moved to Southland to work on a dairy farm with her husband, quickly grasping the nettle of farming life - milking cows, rearing calves, driving tractors... It is this same adaptability and resolve that Kim now brings to the changing real estate market and property sales.
Nine years ago, Kim and her husband went on to purchase the farm and through it all, she has also run a Meth Decontamination business. So, it is fair to say, Kim knows what hard work is. As an agent, she is now fully committed to devoting that energy to meeting client expectations in real estate.
Kim has a natural interest in properties across sectors, and over the years has developed a solid appreciation of their worth and how the current market is operating. She also has an eye for detail and design to give you that all-important advice on presenting your home in the best possible light for achieving the best result.
Building solid relationships is key for Kim, and you will find her to be a down-to-earth character who goes the extra mile. She is keenly interested in people from all walks of life and is well-suited to working with the elderly and first-time home buyers. Needless to say, with her farming background, Lifestyle blocks are also Kim’s forte.
Kim spends her downtime enjoying Southland life – she sits on the local PTA, helps with fundraising events, and spends time with her many friends and family. She considers it her great achievement in meeting her husband and raising three beautiful children.
