Sitting on the edge of New Zealand's breathtaking National Park, Mountain Heights Lodge present layout boasts four private cosy bed and breakfast rooms all with ensuites within the main lodge. There is the potential to convert an existing storage space into an additional room. The lodge has a spacious and inviting communal lounge area with a crackling log fire for those cooler days and a kitchen. The lodge contains the owner's private three-bedroom living quarters.
Separate to the lodge are six self-contained motel units, five with the capacity to sleep four and one with the capacity to sleep five. Our current owners have continued to invest in these assets, and all have been recently modernised to offer quality accommodation to visitors and travellers.
The Ruapehu area is renowned as the outdoor adventure capital of the North Island with a myriad of walks, trails, cycleways, and river adventures to explore. Guest occupancy is now above pre-Covid levels with a steady rise in visitor numbers that is likely to continue.
