Located at the end of Tamaki Drive, St. Heliers is the furtherest of the Eastern Bays beaches and yet is only a 15 minute drive from downtown during off-peak hours. \n\nSt. Heliers was established at the end of the 19th century and quickly became a popular seaside holiday destination for Aucklanders who arrived by ferry, from the city.
