Mooloo, Waikato Rugby Union's mascot, is having an amazing season. The proud, cowbell-ringing jersey cow and ardent Waikato rugby fan has gone all out to support the Waikato Rugby Union. \n\nMooloo emerged in 1951 during Waikato's first shield reign and has been an indefatigable local rugby supporter over the years. But this year she's gone to extremes. Believing that WRU's historic debt is nothing to ring her bells about, Mooloo put on her creative thinking horns and came up with an innovative idea: build a house. \nWorking in partnership with Select Homes and a bunch of fantastic sponsors, Mooloo and the Waikato Rugby Union, with the aid of marketing specialists Bayleys, are excited to present 3 Drower Glen, Glaidsdale to the house-buying public. \n\nAccording to Mooloo, who has been a presence on site since the ground-breaking start of the project, the home is ready to moove into. \n\nThe 203sqm home is a quality build designed to cater for the needs of the modern family. It sits on a landscaped 737sqm section with views extending to the Hakarimata hills. The landscaping work was conceived and completed by Landscape Concepts by Richard, a firm specialising in innovative landscape design.\n\nInstantly appealing, the Huntly clay brick executive home with Metro tile roof presents generous proportions, sophisticated interiors and superb entertaining spaces. Well appointed throughout, it features bright, spacious living areas, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and double internal-access garaging. It is destined to impress. \n\nWaikato Rugby Union CEO Graham Bowen says Select Homes has been outstanding in its contribution. The house is looking great and we believe the project will be very successful.\n\nHe describes the house-building initiative as something a bit different. As we can no longer raise money through traditional sources, this [fundraising] opportunity became pretty important to us. It has been helped along the way by sponsors. Many people have contributed and it's become a big project.\n\nMooloo suggests you hoof it over to Flagstaff and check out this brand new property. Not only is there the opportunity to secure a showcase home, but also the satisfaction of knowing the home has been built through a collaborative effort and shared vision to support Waikato rugby. \n
