This is definitely one of Kerikeri's best gold kiwifruit orchard developments, now nearing maturity. Comprising 3.37 canopy hectare of Zespri G3, this orchard is high quality in every respect. The orchard was planted in 2018 on bounty rootstock and is well sheltered. Aspect is north facing with very slight slope. It has excellent drainage with modern irrigation and fertigation equipment. And where it really counts, this orchard brings the new owner superb canopy quality. The 22/23 season crop is set, and like the previous season will most likely be early start. And in a season that has presented mixed levels of fruit set across NZ, this orchard continues its year on year production growth. An initial crop count suggests per hectare yield will be above 15,500 trays.
