Currently milking 150 cows with calves off from December 1st and cows wintered on the farm, production this season is on track for the mid-seventies. Farms in this region have always been keenly sought after as traditionally they are summer safe and have a manageable ash soil type.

The dairy, though older, works well and effluent is gravity into a pond from where it is pumped to a travelling irrigator covering around eight hectares.
