Fertility and an even rainfall spread of 1600mm throughout the year means Forest Park can grow grass for 12 months of the year. The soil tests back this up, fertile Mairoa ash soils synonyms' within the Taupo region are proven for good grass growth. Water is supplied via a bore and a Halo system is installed. Forest Park sits between 530 metres above sea level to 725 metres.

Aesthetically pleasing Native stands throughout the property creates a wonderful habitat for wildlife. Hunting is available with deer, ducks, pheasants and pigs.
