Welcome to Pukeko Place, a well-balanced 97 hectare (more or less) dairy farm with 85 hectares (approximately) effective. This property has a proven track record - milking 240 cows and consistently producing around 80,000 milk solids. Infrastructure is excellent, with a 16-aside herringbone shed featuring in-shed feeding, and a fully compliant effluent system that irrigates across 30 hectares.

Water is no issue here. A five-year-old bore supplies the farm, supported by storage tanks at the shed and around the property. The water system is well set up with 25mm main lines and 20mm laterals. The farm is well laid out with approximately 60 paddocks, quality fencing and barberry hedges, and pumice-based races for easy movement of stock.

Support facilities include plenty of shedding and calf-rearing infrastructure. The current owner rears 50-60 replacement heifers, along with a further 40-50 beef calves annually. About half the herd is wintered on farm, with the balance grazed off, and supplement usage sits around one tonne per cow.

Soils are naturally fertile Tirau Ash, supported by optimum fertility levels from consistent management. The farm has been in the same family for two generations, a testament to its reliability and productivity.
The homestead is a tidy three-bedroom dwelling, refreshed around four years ago with new carpet and a fresh interior repaint.
